Comments on the Decision to Close Erie Rise

To close a school for low test scores, that is meeting the needs of the whole student, to be tossed back into a failing school system that awards students letters of completion, upon graduation, as functional illiterates is pure evil. My granddaughter was tossed aside by the Erie School District, her father enrolled her at Erie Rise, as an eight year old in second grade, a non- reader. She entered August of last year and is currently the best reader in her class. No thanks to the Erie School District, but a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Erie Rise for ministering to the whole person.

I hope and pray they do not shut Erie Rise down it a excellent school my granddaughter started thier In 2nd grade didn't know how to read they did all that the can to help my granddaughter to succeed and she know how to read and she in the proper program to succeed even more I'm so proud thank God for Erie Rise please don't shut them down we all will be devastated 🙏 thank you
